In order to make sure that your root canal therapy is successful, it’s important to follow the instructions for both before and after the procedure. Please note that the affected tooth and the surrounding gum tissue may be tender for several days. This is normal and should be no cause for alarm. Any pain or discomfort can be alleviated by taking ibuprofen, acetaminophen, or aspirin as directed.
